Hi, I’m Siyuan.

Siyuan = thinking (思-si) + source (源-yuan).

I write independent essays on AI, systems, science, and the philosophy of intelligence. My broader goal is to understand what distinguishes humans from AI, what AI can teach us about ourselves and intelligence, and how humans and AI should relate in the future. My current work approaches these questions by studying how intelligent systems learn, reason, and change over time.
